Prof. Dr. Ernst Rank was awarded the ECCOMAS Euler Medal during the ECCOMAS Congress in June 2024 in Lisbon, Portugal. This medal is awarded for outstanding and sustained contributions in the field of Computational Solid and Structural Mechanics. The award recognizes his significant scientific achievements and lasting impact on the field.
The Euler Medal is awarded every two years at the ECCOMAS conferences and is named after the mathematician Leonhard Euler.
